My Son Thinks He Is Getting Offensive T Shirts

The only thing that my son asked me to get him for Christmas was some funny t shirts. He saw some really great ones online and wrote down the websites and the product numbers of the ones that he wanted. He is going to be very disappointed when he opens his gifts and only finds one of the funny t shirts there.

I was so happy that he had made it really easy to shop for him this year, that I started looking over the t shirt sites very early in November. I put in the product numbers and could not believe that my son actually thought I would buy him one of these offensive t shirts. He is thirteen years old and goes to a Catholic school; I have no idea what he is thinking. I did come across one t shirt that was not offensive, that I could see but hopefully there is not some kind of subliminal message in it.

I have since ordered him some really nice polo shirts and a pair of really great khakis to wear to school. If he wants to wear offensive t shirts, then he will have to wait until he is an adult.

We Added Screen Doors For Security

I was hoping to add some nice features and some security to my mother’s home when I hired a company to install window guards and security screen doors. I had asked her to move in with me and my family, but she refuses to leave the house that she has been in for fifty years. I understand that she loves her house but I do not feel that she is safe by herself anymore.

I tried to get my mother a dog last year, and she did not want one. When I found out that there had been a burglary just a few streets away, I decided to come up with other ways of adding some security to her house. When I talked to her about how nice the window guards and security screen doors would look on her house, she went along with the idea.

I made sure to meet the contractor that was doing the work, and explained that I needed to be there every time his crew was working. He had no problems working with my schedule to get the window guards and security screen doors installed. It took about three weeks for everything to be finished and I feel much better with my mother staying in her own house since she has some extra security that also adds a lot of character to her house.
