The office supply list was much longer than normal, since we just hired ten additional salesmen. I needed to make sure that the office supplies store knew that we needed everything to be sent in a rush order so that the new salesmen could have their offices be fully stocked on Monday morning.

When I placed the big office supply order, I made sure to talk with the manager and she told me that they would make sure that everything was sent overnight and we would have it way before Monday. I knew that I liked that office supplies store better than any of the other ones in the city. They are very accommodating. I think that I will make it mandatory for everyone else to use them, since they have been so nice to us during this time.

I had a big list of things to get for our trip and I was about three days behind in getting it done. We were heading out to my in-laws for the holidays and my kids had nothing warm to wear since we live in the deep south. I knew that they were going to be in for a big shock once we stepped out of the warm car into the bitter snowy cold. I wanted to get them everything that they could possibly use to keep them warm.

First on my list were some boys pajamas that had long sleeves and long pants. My boys were used to just wearing short sets of pajamas to bed. I am not sure why they had the footed pajamas in our stores, but as soon as I saw them, I knew that I had to get them. My boys would think that they were the craziest thing but I knew that they would appreciate them at their grandparent’s house. I was able to find all their sizes in the boys pajamas section.

It took me about eight hours but I managed to get everything that we needed for the trip. I had it all packed away in the suit cases in about three more hours and we were ready to hit the road to have very snowy and cold holidays, footed pajamas and all.

I may have found a new discount office furniture store that has lower prices and a quicker guaranteed delivery schedule than the company that we currently used. I just happen to come across them when I was surfing the web looking for a new discount office supplies company. I was happy to see that someone had finally done something that would make my job easier. They had combined the office furniture site with the office supplies site and I could get everything from them with one order. This would also save on shipping and handling if they could just combine everything in one or two boxes.

I decided that I should order some discount office furniture, just a small order, and check out how good the quality was on their products. I knew that the discount office supplies would be fine since they were the same brands that we usually get, just for lower prices. The determining factor would be the furniture, and then I would discuss it with my boss. If the furniture was of poor quality, I would just send it back and no one would know the difference. If it was good quality, then I would show him and discuss getting all of our things from them, office supplies and office furniture.

My gift to my mother was a shopping trip. Since she has a fear of crowds, she did not think that it was a very good gift until I explained to her that we were going to have a shopping trip online. This made her much more comfortable about the whole thing. I knew that by shopping online, she could still have fun and get some great things for herself at the same time.

Our online shopping trip started on a Saturday morning at about eight and lasted until about four that afternoon. My mother and I found some of the best deals on Tod’s shoes and Gucci accessories that I have ever seen. I am not sure who picked out more items, my mother or me. We even took a lunch break in between when I had the Italian restaurant deliver it to my mother’s house. It was like we were really out on a shopping trip.

The day that the Tod’s shoes and Gucci accessories and everything else arrived, was another fun day for both of us. We tried everything on and modeled for one another. Everything we had picked out looked fabulous when we got it on. I really hope that my mother wants to have another shopping trip online next year too.

I was just about to turn in our order of janitorial products to the company we have used for years when my wife told me that we need to find someone cheaper to use. She said that she saw some statements for a different company on her friend’s desk that owns a hair salon and they were much lower than ours.

My wife had written down the name of the cheaper cleaning supplies company that he friend uses and we got on their website to compare their prices to our current supplier. We were both shocked when we saw how much cheaper this company was than ours. I immediately placed an order with them and tore up the order sheet that I had for our now previous supplier.

Our old company called the next day to let me know that since I had not gotten my cleaning supplies order in on time that they were going to have to charge me an additional fee to take it over the phone and guarantee delivery. I laughed and told the girl that I had found a janitorial products company that had better priced cleaning supplies and that we would not need their services anymore and then I hung up on her.

I remember when buying a funny t shirt was not so easy. You first had to get to a novelty store, or some sort of mall and hope that they had a store that sold funny t shirts or made them. I remember the days of having them made for you, but you could not get just anything because they would not put certain words on them for you. I really wanted to make something lifelike of my husband for his thirtieth birthday. I had planned a huge surprise party at our favorite restaurant and all of our friends and family were going to be there.

I was searching the internet one day for ideas, and came across a company that made personalized puzzles. I wanted this to be the largest photo puzzle that anyone had ever seen. I ordered it with the intent of embarrassing my husband beyond belief. I had used a photo of him from his college days wearing some pretty crazy clothes. It arrived and I could not believe how cool it was.

The day of the party, I had asked for an eight foot table to be set up on the side of the restaurant where all of the early guests would be arriving. It took about two hundred people to put together this personalized puzzles.

When my husband arrived, he was definitely surprised by the party. He was then surprised by the largest photo puzzle that any of us had ever seen. He of course, said that he loved the photo, and he was not embarrassed at all. I will have to make sure that all my embarrassing photos are hidden when my birthday rolls around.

It is true that the economy is tight. It is also true that life has become so expensive. Yet, the truth that you need to keep at the back of your mind is that it is the same situation to every other person. Do not feel as though you are the one who is facing the hardest challenges. We are all facing the effects of these last days and as was foretold, these times would be hard to deal with.

You see, there are so many people who have adopted the right attitude. They have realized that it is actually time for creating balanced on your needs, feelings and life in general.
