A Customized Bathtub for Grandchildren
Home & Garden January 3rd, 2012My daughter is a wee-bit stubborn at times. I have repeatedly told her to make sure that she and her husband buy for themselves a tub designed for safe bathing. As a mother of seven, five of which were very active boys running about, I know that accidents are just bound to happen when you’re not looking. And the thing is, when you are a mother of seven, you just can’t look at seven different directions or run to all seven locations should an accident happen. I guess you now understand why I was persistent in making sure they buy what’s safe for the kids. After all, they do have four of their own. And yes, they are as active as my kids were.
To tell me that they didn’t have enough money to buy a customized bath tub was not enough an excuse for me. And since I was so determined to make sure they get one for the kids, I promised to pay for half of what they will buy—a gift for them and my grandchildren. To this day, my daughter and son-in-law keep on thanking me when I visit them.
