I just had my new partials ordered and they should be in sometime next week. I had a very bad accident when I was just eighteen years old and had some of my teeth knocked out. At first, I was embarrassed to wear partials but it was better than having no teeth in those spots so I quickly got used to the idea.

I have only had two dentists since then and would never feel comfortable going to anyone else. The first of the two dentists was the owner of the family dentistry office in my hometown for what had been somewhere between thirty and forty years. When he decided to retire, his son took over the practice and stepped right in and is my second dentist. Since he is much younger than me, I have a feeling that he will be my last and final dentist that I will ever have.

He knows all about my accident and how I came to need partials so when he suggested that we order a new more up to date set, I was fine with that. I know that technology changes all the time and my new ones will probably fit better look better and even last longer than my old ones.
