It is obvious that you will find out a good provider who will supply you the promotional gifts items you wish to distribute among your customers, associates, or the employees. However, there are certain intricacies which you have to take care of while ordering your promotional products.

There are two processes called overrun and under-run. Normally the promotional products are used by business concerns to print their logo, messages, or company name on them. Printers normally will produce extra five to ten percent of items that you have ordered to address the print issues. Normally you will have to bear the extra cost. This is what is called an overrun. On the other hand the under-run is the case where fewer items are produced in comparison to the placement of orders. However such situations rarely occur.

Normally the printers or the providers will keep a minimum number as the lowest permissible orders for them. It means that if you are ordering for some items like the promotional pens then you will have to ask for the minimum amount of such articles. Otherwise the provider or printer will not honor your orders. This is called the “minimum order” in technical terms.

Sometimes the printer will charge you with a set up charge. Such types of charges are leveled when they find that your logo or message is such that they will require use of many customized items. Such items will be used only once for your products manufacturing and not any time in future. Thus the expenses would be total loss for the printer and they will ask you to bear the cost in terms of set up charges.
